HeroI sat by the window looking out on the wide yard. The children were running around playing tag. As they ran leaves of all colors were kicked up into the air. Snow... That was Grace's earliest memory. It was also her only memory of snow. She had spent all her life in an orphanage in Florida. A memory of snow seemed so out of place.
Grace had been found by the caretakers of the orphanage shortly after new year many many years ago. There had been a note nearby. All it said was “Call her Grace.” Now as the warn winter wind blew Grace knew that tomorrow would be her last day at the orphanage. Since I've been gone so long I've built up a reserve of ideas and hopefully I can find them time to draw them all out. Anyway, I think I'll wrap up this journal now.
